Lisa + Kris's Wedding

You would not believe how wonderful it’s been to be surrounded by some of the loveliest and liveliest people. Lisa and Kris’s family and friends were beyond excited to see the two get married.

Lisa’s friends were quick to offer their home in Del Mar to be the place for the celebration. The home was filled love and laughter. It felt like I was being invited into a Hallmark movie the first day I met them. We sat around the long farmhouse table in the living room overlooking the mountainous terrain - sipping on some bubbly and chowing on a hefty plate of charcuterie.

The family shared their favorite stories from Kris and Lisa’s childhood, the couple painted their beautiful engagement story with colorful words, and the friends filled the sweet silence with tears describing how much they loved each other.

By far, my favorite part about the wedding day was the very end. The guests had left, but the bridal party was crowded around the piano singing only the classic love songs.

Oh, and the details? Kris’s family is from French New Orleans and Lisa was born and raised in sunny San Diego. This wedding combined the traditional French New Orleans festivities and the relaxed feel of La Jolla. See how it all came together:
